Prevention and treatment of erectile dysfunction in newlyweds
Erectile dysfunction in newlyweds is a sexual dysfunction that occurs during a special period. It is often treated with comprehensive conditioning combined with medication, and the results are satisfactory.
(1) Comprehensive treatment: For different causes, corresponding countermeasures should be adopted. For example, if it is due to lack of sexual knowledge, sexual knowledge should be popularized; if it is due to psychological disorder, psychotherapy should be used to relieve stress; if it is due to environmental factors, the influence of the surrounding environment should be eliminated.
Meanwhile, the bride should closely cooperate with the treatment. Therefore, avoiding excessive fatigue and tension before marriage, eliminating factors that have a clear inhibitory effect on sexual function and erection, and strengthening premarital sex education are important means to prevent impotence in newlyweds.
(2) Drug treatment: Intracavernosal injection, which is simple, fast-acting, and easily accepted by patients; traditional Chinese medicine treatment and other methods.

impotence in both wife and husband
When a man suffers from erectile dysfunction, in addition to seeking medical treatment in a timely manner, it is even more important for his wife to cooperate, as her attitude directly affects the prognosis of the disease.
(1) When a husband’s penis cannot get erect or is not firm enough, his wife should comfort him and help him build confidence in overcoming the disease.
He was in great mental anguish and felt guilty towards his wife.
A wife should never blame her husband, hurt him with cold words, or belittle him. This will only make him more anxious, causing him to lose confidence and worsen his condition. Instead, she should care for and be considerate of her husband, work together to find the reasons for the failure, eliminate his fear and tension, and help him to cheer up, feel cheerful, and recover from his illness as soon as possible.
When a husband suffers from erectile dysfunction, he may develop a sense of crisis. His wife should not issue an ultimatum, such as "if he cannot be cured by a certain date, we will get a divorce."
(2) Assist in finding the cause of the disease.
There are many causes of erectile dysfunction. Assist your husband in analyzing the possible causes of erectile dysfunction.
(3) Pay attention to sexual lifestyle.
Sexual activity requires a process of induction and preparation. Wives should strive to take the initiative and control the frequency and number of sexual intercourse, but should not force their husbands to engage in ineffective intercourse. If the husband is under 60 years old, it is advisable to stop sexual activity for a period of time, or even one or two months, to allow him to treat his erectile dysfunction. It may be more effective to resume sexual activity after his sexual function has recovered.

Widower syndrome
Widowmaker syndrome is a type of psychogenic erectile dysfunction that has been discovered in recent years. It can originate from the death, divorce, or separation of a spouse, and for a period of time, it can lead to complete loss of erectile function.
Widowmaker syndrome typically occurs in men over 50 years of age. Due to the wife's long-term illness, the woman becomes increasingly weak and dependent on her husband. The man then becomes her caregiver, providing her with more and more physical and emotional care, eventually leading to her death.
The husband suffered psychological setbacks due to the lack of sexual partners and prolonged periods without sexual activity. After his sick wife passed away, his attempts to resume sexual activity with his second wife often failed due to erectile dysfunction, leading to anxiety.
No matter how attractive his second wife was, or how well she cooperated, the patient still experienced significant mental stress, placing himself in the position of an observer, which resulted in erectile dysfunction.

Physical therapy for erectile dysfunction
Although medication is a successful treatment for erectile dysfunction, it is not suitable for, does not accept, or is ineffective for many patients. These patients may consider physical therapy.
There are three types of physical devices. The simplest one is a constriction ring, which is put on the base of the penis after erection to compress the veins and prevent backflow to maintain the erection.
It is only suitable for those who can get an erection but have difficulty maintaining it.
The second type is a synergistic erection device, which works by applying negative pressure and using an external clamp, and its shape resembles a penile sheath.
It was widely used in the late 1980s and early 1990s, but it also caused a lot of problems, such as vaginal discomfort, penile stimulation and decreased sensitivity.
The third type is a vacuum erection device. Its negative pressure device works by using a negative pressure sleeve to make the penis engorged with blood until it is erect. Then, a rubber band is tied to the base of the penis to prevent venous reflux, keeping the penis erect and allowing for sexual intercourse.
Its erectile characteristics include reduced total blood inflow and simultaneous engorgement of the extracavernosal tissue.
Negative pressure devices are suitable for all types of erectile dysfunction, but are contraindicated for patients with severe cardiovascular disease, sexually transmitted diseases, phimosis, or blood disorders.
The main drawback of negative pressure devices is the lack of naturalness in sexual intercourse, and symptoms such as bruising, penile pain, difficulty in ejaculation, and penile numbness may occur after use.
