One black-boned chicken, 250g of raw rehmannia root, and 150g of maltose. First, remove the feathers and intestines from the chicken and wash it clean. Then, cut the raw rehmannia root into thin strips, mix it evenly with the maltose, put it into the chicken's cavity, and sew it up.

Place it in a basin and steam it in a steamer until cooked. Do not add any seasonings or condiments, and then eat the meat.

Steam lotus seeds, yam, fox nuts, and poria until cooked, then mash them and mix them with refined flour. Use the concentrated juice from steamed rehmannia root and cornus officinalis instead of water to make the dough. Add white sugar and salt and knead well. Spread the dough on a steamer cloth, sprinkle with walnuts and goji berries, press them into the dough, drizzle with honey, and steam until cooked.

Poria cocos and Cornus officinalis 50g, wolfberry 30g, and walnut kernels nourish the kidneys and replenish essence; lotus seeds, fox nuts, and Cornus officinalis also strengthen essence and qi. This formula is a good dietary therapy for treating kidney deficiency and leukorrhea.

> (6) Stir-fried snails with wine

> 500g of snails, appropriate amount of wine.

Black-boned chicken is highly nourishing and strengthens bones and muscles; lotus seeds and ginkgo seeds astringe semen and stop seminal emission.

Part Two: Porridge and Drinks

> (1) Sea cucumber porridge

>

> 30-50g of white rice, 15-20g of sea cucumber.

First, cut the soaked sea cucumber into small pieces and cook it with rice to make porridge, which is the usual method.

(3) Huang Chen Congee

> Astragalus membranaceus 30-60g, japonica rice 60g, dried tangerine peel powder 1g, brown sugar as needed.

First, decoct the astragalus root, remove the dregs, add japonica rice and brown sugar to cook porridge, then add dried tangerine peel powder and bring to a boil briefly. Take it for breakfast and dinner.

>

Astragalus, a sweet and slightly warm herb, is most effective in tonifying qi, raising yang, and strengthening the spleen, hence it is used in large quantities as the main ingredient; japonica rice can also benefit qi, warm the middle jiao, strengthen the spleen, and harmonize the stomach; a small amount of tangerine peel is added to promote qi circulation and dry dampness.

It can be eaten for breakfast or as a side dish.

Poria cocos is sweet, benefits the spleen and removes dampness, promotes urination and stops diarrhea. When combined with white rice and red dates, it strengthens the stomach and benefits the middle qi. It can be used as a supplementary food for leukorrhea caused by insufficient spleen qi and disordered digestion.

If you have loose stools, feel cold, or have cold hands and feet, you can add 3 slices of dried ginger to the pot and cook together.

(5) Yam porridge

>

> 60g raw yam (peeled and mashed), 60g white rice, appropriate amount of ghee and white honey.

After making the yam into a paste, stir-fry it with ghee and honey until it solidifies. Then, crush it with a spoon. Separately, cook rice into porridge, add the peony root, and stir well. You can also add a little sugar.

Eat it as breakfast in the morning.

Yam is sweet and neutral, and is a tonic for the spleen and kidneys. Ghee is sweet and neutral, and has the effect of tonifying deficiency, moistening the internal organs and blood vessels. Honey is sweet and neutral, and can soothe the deficiencies of the five internal organs. It invigorates qi and tonifies the middle jiao. The combination of these three ingredients is truly an excellent product for tonifying the kidneys and spleen.

(6) Loofah porridge

One tender fresh loofah, 50g of white rice, and appropriate amount of white sugar.

> Loofah is sweet and cool, clears heat, promotes diuresis, and detoxifies, and can be used to treat leukorrhea caused by damp-heat.

> (7) Ginkgo and Winter Melon Seed Drink

>

> 10 ginkgo nuts, 3g winter melon seeds, 15g lotus seeds, 1.5g pepper, a little sugar.

>

Boil the ingredients in water, remove the dregs, add white sugar and mix well. Drink 2-3 times a day, 300ml each time.

>

Ginkgo can remove dampness and astringe, and is good at reducing urination and stopping leukorrhea; lotus seeds are sweet, astringent and neutral in nature, and can nourish the heart, benefit the kidneys and spleen, and astringe essence and stop leukorrhea; winter melon seeds are good at clearing the water passages, removing dampness and turbidity; a little pepper is added to warm the middle and lower the qi, so as to benefit the bladder. When all the medicines are used together, they have the effect of consolidating essence and qi, and warming and clearing turbidity.

(8) Aloe Vera and Melon Seed Drink

Take one dose daily, steeped in boiling water and drunk frequently.

Yam replenishes qi, strengthens the spleen, and astringes; hawthorn invigorates the spleen, eliminates greasy accumulation, and promotes healthy spleen function and smooth flow of qi in the middle jiao.

It is used to treat symptoms such as stagnation of Qi in the spleen and stomach, impaired spleen function, cloudy and milky urine due to the downward flow of essence, abdominal distension, and weakness in the limbs.

(10) Lotus leaf juice

The quantity of fresh lotus leaves is not important.

>

Squeeze the juice through cheesecloth and add sugar to taste.

>

Take 30-50ml twice daily.

This formula uses only lotus leaf, which is bitter and astringent; it is good at releasing clear yang energy; it also astringes essence and promotes urination.

It is used to treat symptoms caused by kidney deficiency and loss of storage, such as frequent or clear urination, dribbling of urine with filaments after urination, painless urination, or accompanied by pale complexion, dizziness, lower back pain and cold limbs.
